Welcome to the 5th edition of Tuesday Toggle Topic! Alpha Reborn It came to our attention this week that new server source files were available. After @Mantosh and @FrostIce reviewed them we found a drastic improvement in server stability, resource management, and features. We then had a very difficult choice to make: To use the new server files, or stay with our current tested setup. Because of our commitment to provide you, the players, the best L2 experience possible, we decided to implement the new server files into our build. While most of our features transferred over effortlessly, there are some challenges ahead. The main one that the previously completed Alpha testing is no longer applicable and will have to be redone. While disappointing on the surface, the alpha testing phase did provide me, along with the rest of the staff, insight into what you guys are looking for. GM Arthose looking forward to the future of L2Toggle So what is the plan moving forward? A new Alpha testing phase will begin shortly. The Alpha test server is actually currently ‘up’, but it needs about a day before testing can truly begin. Our staff will not forget the hard work the Alpha Wolves have done up to this point and rewards at launch will be given out accordingly. That being said, with another wave of Alpha testing comes a 2nd chance at being an Alpha Wolf, and the possible for (more) rewards at launch date for those who help out in testing this time around. Just a reminder that our application for alpha testing begins here. Because the file structure is so much better now, Alpha testing will be a much shorter phase (hopefully with fewer issues), will thus transfer much smoother into Beta testing, and official launch. Remember that our staff here at L2Toggle is always available to you if you have questions. Feel free to send us a question/concern you have either here on the forums, or on our discord server. L2Project became popular on the last server Mantosh and I played. Like any bot, it has it's pros and cons and it seems to work great on some PCs while being a resource hog on others. If you want to try it out you can download it here http://www.mediafire.com/file/cye8c2rtdb8xmq2/L2Project_-_Toggle.rar/file. Once you load up the EXE file, select the L2Toggle setting file and it will use the correct IP for login and server. FYI, this bot is A M A Z I N G at quickly adding element stones to weaps/armor

understood, and it's a toss up for us as well. On one hand, many MANY servers fail in the first week or two because the launch was rushed and there are just too many bugs. The players grow impatient because the 1, maybe 2 staff members can't fix everything wrong at one time. We are well aware of this so the first thing we knew we would need is a large staff. We have a solid core group with others interested in joining as well. We also are a having extensive testing period to ensure we are providing a high quality product for everyone. Will the server ever be 'done', no. Will it be bug free, no. But we are committed to make it as close to perfect as possible at launch and are equipped to respond to issues ASAP. Believe me, I've wanted to do this for 15 years, I'm more than ready to launch the 'go' button too. In the time between now and then there is still plenty YOU can do. Alpha testing is currently live, and BETA testing will follow. And at any time you have questions feel free to swing by our discord server. Even during the week our staff is quite available to answer questions you may have.

Has anyone ever been able to get this to work? It crashes my client upon launch.

I get it, and most of us have spent many many hours on said server. Ultimately we wanted something more than that. More content, and a responsive staff. Mantosh is right, server starts from a solid fuctioning server, and then the agreement is I get to break it from there

Just wanted to give you all an update on things, we discovered some additional issues which we are working though so testing is delayed another 24-48 hours. Apologies for the delay but we want to provide you a stable testing environment with minimal downtime and restarts as to not waste your time. As we work though this we will continue to provide updates here and in Discord.

I no longer have a Windows 7 computer but this 'was' working a while back. I have NOT tested it for this server so I would appreciate if someone could test it out for me who is running Windows 7 Basically unzip into your C:\ Folder. Go to the file settings on Admons2.exe, start.exe. and Adrenalin.exe and change all to "Run as Administrator". Run Admons2.exe, wait for it to launch adrenaline, then run start.exe, turn it on. Minimize admons2.exe and start.exe, then load as many L2 clients as you want from that point. if that doesn't work. Try changing your L2.Exe shortcut to run as admin. Also, make sure windows defender and any anti-virus has the adrenaline folder excluded . If you still have issues exclude the Lineage 2 folder at the System32/NCSoft location. Hope this helps. yeah, I remember how laggy the game was on that old cheap computer I would run L2 on. I think I always played on 800x600 on lowest graphic settings too. And yeah, all of the misclicks are cringe worthy.

One thing I have always liked about L2 is how it brings people from all walks of life together. Different countries, occupations, interests, etc... So If you feel like sharing go ahead. That being said, be smart. Don't post things like your full name, address, place of work, credit card numbers unless you PM me the 3 digit code on the back... So besides my family my biggest two passions are my work and my car. I have worked in the steel construction industry for some time. I tried not to at first but I guess it's in my blood. My grandfather made his living as a steel draftsman, my father and I both still carry on that tradition as well. Below is some of the projects I have ever been involved with. I have a 1994 Impala SS that I have been restoring for some time. The outside is very stock looking, under the hood, not so much. RAISS K&N dual intake, F-Body (Basically larger) MAF instake. Tri-Y 4-2-1 ceramic coated headers, Hi-flow cats, brake and metering bolt mods, basically when I got the car the entire cooling system was FUBAR so it all came out. New 9C1 hoses, heatercore, radiator, waterpump, only thing I managed to save was the overflow tank which is why it's still discolored brown. the entire front end suspension and steering linkage was removed and replaced mostly with MOOG parts. Everything got painted while it was all out as well. cleaned up the spindles and all new hardware and rotors going back in.

Depending on your version of windows download the correct version. There IS a difference between the windows 7 and windows 10 specifically with the A.dll file. IF you have windows 10, you will need to Go to the file settings on Admons2.exe, start.exe. and Adrenalin.exe and change all to "Run as Administrator" and change compatibility to windows 7. Depending on how... difficult your computer wants to be... you might also need to do the same to your L2.exe shortcut. Disabling or excluding the bot folder and your L2 system folder might also help get things going. You know you did it right when it looks like this. If you don't see "No Name Loading..." pop up in the bot window the L2 client WILL NOT be hooked with the bot, or in other words, will be a regular L2 window with no botting. Likely issues are, you didn't click 'start' on the start.exe window. Or you started up the L2 Client before the bot fully loaded. I also attached a translated manual of adrenaline.
