Question - - - don't you need to buff yourself first, then your pet? I thought any time you buff yourself, your pet gets it

There are some private servers that work this way. I also believe that GOD+ severs also work this way. If there is anything not working exactly right about pets is that if you close the game with a pet out, when you relog and move the pet is essentially re-summoned and therefore has no buffs. Technically the pet is "supposed" to retain its buff after a D/C or relog.

Doesn't seem like a Huge deal since all you have to do is rebuff and loose some rebuff adena.

MY QUESTION: Can I make the char and pet buff always done at the same time, (combo) so I don't have to leave fight to buff self and then later leave fight to buff pet. The rebuff times are set the same. I tried to do this with the combo icon, but for whatever reason I did not get it to work.

    Respectfully, I disagree.

    3. Once a seal has been won, it remains "won" until the opposing side wins. So if 2 seals are won the first period on a new server, and the 3rd seal is won the next period, all 3 seals should be held.

I am confident the above information was accurate for years. Has it changed? We won Strife (the 3rd seal) on this server and Dusk has never won, so Strife should remain an earned seal until such time as Dusk wins. It cannot be "lost" otherwise. That is why I shared the issue at the start of this post.

Please advise where I am mistaken.

#3 is where you've gone astray. All the rest is golden.

You do not "automatically" retain the seal until the other side wins the entire dusk/dawn competition. You must maintain each seal through each competition period and it requires coordination from everyone on the dawn side to maintain all three seals.

  3. I guess specifically you're referring to siege grounds, AQ, other epics.   Just to clarify you're not asking to be able to use community buffer  in a pvp zone while in a combat state?

Best option is to remove them completely of game! Killing bots for free aint working for a botting server!

By letting people using them is like a "cosmic irony" in a botting server !!!

P.S. Don't start with the PVE boost to bla bla bla . . . that someone actual need it. Free full buff with unlimited clients and mana potions in H5 chronicle is the answer on PVE bla bla !!!

    I second this suggestion.

  5. This vote will come down along Clan lines.

If you're loosing the war right now you will vote to limit.  If you're winning the war then you vote to keep two parties.

I watched as people talked a big game and PK'd people like crazy.  Which made the server very difficult for many to level.

    image.png.a7a62b073d27a83519e94104637a9d3b.png

IF this poll indicates anything it is that you outnumber Redarrows in live players and if you get organized, work hard, and pick fights you can win then you'll get much much stronger and turn the balance later.

I think changing the rule/s now is very unwise.

I'm tired of this jumping around, everybody knows there are big issues with files that I'd rather work on instead. I'm leaving it to "1-3 hours" leveled, not because I believe it's the right answer, but because I don't want to spend more time on this.

    +1.

I never thought the crused weapons made sense in a botting server, they were very much created IMO to kill bots.

Good point. Usually I leave the window in-case something doesn't work in production. The update itself doesn't take more than 5 minutes, but I take extra time to update OS, backup and export logs/DB and restart the machine so it would be more stable. So setting an alarm to come back and turn back on the server doesn't make sense as I need to make sure it's up and stable before announcing it anyway. I understand that it would more professional that way though. How about next time I announce that the downtime is 1 hour, but turn it on when I have to and use the extra time as a safety net in-case something fails?

    Sounds resonable.

  8. Yesterday the update included an amazing new feature for Premium Accounts

The server still has auto loot, so non one needs to pick up normal drops.

Now that's been improved for Premium Accounts with Forward Drop to Party Leader

     type ALT-B --> Settings

    image.png.590c1cfa135c348aebe611840d1d43e1.png

or type .cfg. and both bring you here

    image.png.024b043ef2586b74a2c22bfd3d8bf7c0.png

Forward Drop to Party Leader is set to ON by default.

This will forward all drops to PL, but what about spoils?

Type ALT-X -->  image.png.fbf0d17e5ac42adca5c95e9ad0ebc40a.png --> and click the image.png.8614351e754cbd1238aff09a8ac96827.png and the change party Loot

    image.png.a036f3fd4731ad74ea343d6ef52b6efc.png

If Party loot is set to Finders Keepers and you have Forward Drop to Party Leader set to ON, then all drops will go to the PL,

Set Party Loot to image.png.efeb74430bc2acb1037340f2dcf3e4ac.png and (make sure if party is already formed before this change to break and reform party after this change) Spoils will ALSO go to the PL!!!!

Yet another Quality of Life feature here at Lineage2Toggle

    have fun and Thanks @Mantosh

  9. If you're like me, you like to run as many clients as possible with Adrenalin. It is a great program.

In order to do so, you might need to make some compromises on this beatuful game.

I reduced the graphics options to bare minimum on all support boxes. I mean bare minimum. IF you don't want to compromise that much play around with the settings.

    Let's get started.

    1. Open CRACKED or Paid Adrenalin.

    2. Open Lineage 2

    3. Push ALT-enter which will change L2 to windowed mode

    •  you can change these settings in the main menu before signing in, or you can log in and do ALT-X click settings

    log in windowimage.png.4017198854d26a87df5bc128bd390d0e.png OR  ALT-X in game image.png.8380e8ae9fe3a363c500ce66ef844d68.png  -->  image.png.ffffc0debf18b77c143da844bbee7218.png

    4. Reduce settings to what you desire. I go bare minimum when I'm trying to run all 20 accounts. For a day or two I ran 20 account running a silly quest that annoyed everyone and 3 more hunting.

    • set anti-aliasing to none
    • set display limit to minimum (BTW if you do this on your supports and then you click on the supports screen to see what's going on chances are you won't even be able to see the mob/s your fighting)
    • click lower detail  (in game you push ALT-P and it will "Toggle" Lower Detail on and off
      • mess with the other settings here which are darken for how much nicer it will look if you turn off Lower detail
        • you see here before I clicked Lower Detal I turned off Shadows, Ground Detail,  Reflectins, Shader is set to none, and none of those options are clicked below USe IMproved Shader Effect
    • I turn texture filter off (ahh the inhumanity, it's ugly as hell!!) Wait that's just me
    • image.thumb.png.ede25afb0e6dbe2a7bbfbbeaec0d000f.png
    • Click confirm
    • log out of the game entirely and close L2 window
      • now you won't have to change graphic settings on every single L2 window.
      • NOTE: if you increase your main L2 window's graphic settings (which I recommend you do) and you close all your L2 windows, the next time you open a L2 window the graphic settings will be set to the last L2 window's settings.
    • Log into all your Lineage2 accounts.
      • if you're really trying to conserve power I push ALT-P in game on each account which turn LOwer Detail off and push ALT-P again to turn LOwer Detail back on.
        • after I do this the graphics seem even lower than when I logged. NOT sure if this is true.

    5. In game you can set this and forget.

    • type .cfg or ALT-B and hit  [Settings]
      • you can type .cfg in combat while you can not access ALT-B in combat

    image.png.6e8962e7a2de8b75f1e45c7b7c439273.png   --> image.png.a6a28903099ac791c453e4ac71dbc950.png

    • turn on these two settings on all your supports as displayed here and as you desire on your main.
      • Do not show traders
        • when you to a town  with players shop, these accounts will not displays those player character shop
      • Disable Buffs Animations
        • you won't see all those beautiful magic skills and buffs. less to clog up your system

    6. Now to set adrenalin so it is less taxing on your computer system.

    • click the image.png.00ba90e47f8506824144690b2392bad9.png icon

    image.thumb.png.debe3f23445fe3475043bc2499d08498.png

    • Performance
      • I reduce my supports all the way to minimum. This will reduce the demand on you processor.
    • Background Game
      • this is how often the characters position will be displayed/processed on a lineage2 window that is not currently selected and is a window in the back ground
        • beware sometimes setting the background game to much will mean your supports will struggle follwoing your main through dugeons, around obstacles, or possibly even when hunting in multiple rooms.

OK there you have it. Some of the things I do to have multiple Lineage 2 windows open with **Cracked** Adrenalin. All of this should help you run multiple lineage 2 accounts for an extended period of time. after all we have a great stable server.

Other things to consider. I recently removed a TON of stuff from my desktop on my PC. The pC runs better and I'm getting less random lineage2 account disconnects.

A guide how to write a "Scrapyard level" guide 🙃

ooo maybe I could do that, but I might rename it "How to Write Scraps" or " How to write Scrappy Style"

  11. Let's start a discussion about what guides you'd like to see? Recognize even writing one simple guide can take some time, and writing long complex guides are a huge committment. Peronally I like to focus my efforts on guiding new players. You know new to Lineage 2 High Five, new to private server features, and new to botting.

Ok I'm opening the flood gates! Let's hear you suggestions. If you need a guide someone recommends please image.png.cb5dd0a456afc9ee51aa5ccffeb6d2fd.pngit.

(no promises I will make them, but I will get a sense of what is needed and will benefit the most people). If I get a long list, I make a poll.

  12. Open adrenlain **I'm using cracked**, but this should work awesome on paid.

    1. choose settings

    image.png.00ef54b94fdcad5aca8b988bc5e769ce.png

    2. choose self buffs and then click type and move in in game buffs

    image.png.374f6b94912d66b37fde04d90758c300.png

    3. select whatever buff scheme you desire, I'm going to select "Buff fo fighter", then click on H

    image.png.cb7977b86a497fa331af92d4046761c3.png

    4. once you click H you'll see

     image.png.cbfe92e2630f0d7013d6d91716140dfb.png

    4. Erase all of this and enter

     image.png.eac9a2e026448268aed20f53e01c4d3f.png     image.png.4327205669d17bd8e600dda106afb691.png

The Third and last number here listed as 13 chooses whether you buff yourself, the party of your pet.

    If you have a pet:

    13 = self, 14=pet, & 15 = party

If you do not have a pet:

    13 = self & 14 = Party

    5. This will choose the Defender setting. The second number in the lsit in this case the 14 chooses the Defender. to choose mystic or fighter change this number to match the numbers in red next to the standard schemes in the pictures above.

    image.png.b7d7e499f5b83f1dd745a59dec94ff21.png

    6. click box if no buffs, then click the box below which will bring up a list of buffs the character currently has, then select a buff or buffs that if they disappear the bot will rebuff with the buff scheme.

    image.png.8b485fd5ae8c348cdb5af69245f50fa2.png

    7. Lastly

    •  make sure fight is unchecked so the bot will not try and buff while in fight and will stop fighting until status is no longer in combat and then trigger AlT-B,
      • also you can elect to do without target
    • click  the box in front of "And/or it estimated time:   keep <   and enter a time. (personally I like 5-10 mins worth of time, and a slightly different time on each character, but you do you)
    • click Add button on the right side
    • check all settngs to make sure something from another setting hasn't crept in such as a self heal skill from you're healer when Condition 1 on the lower left hand side says [My Health < 80%]
      • if a setting like this remains, you bot will not try to rebuff untill health is below 80% which means it is prob in combat [in fight] - likely or more likely death and party wipe

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING -

    image.png.b31077b338bedbd4790184d4bcde2f4f.png

This is not a complete guide of buffs, you can mess with many other settings here, such as figure out how to add custom buffs once you save them in ALT-B buffer system.

Now you don't have to monitor and rebuff your characters every 2 or 3 hours.

    Have fun!

  13. Hi fellow Toggle Mates.

When I worked at one retail job, some of the management team used to say when an employee was fired they were being promoted... to a customer. After all, the customer is the boss right. The customer is never wrong.

I wanted to let you know I've choosen to fire myself as GM. I'm stepping down, so that Mantosh and his team can continue to deliver what is currently a great server and what promises to be truly outstanding!

So am I stepping down or am I stepping up, because now.... I've been promoted to a player! While the customer may be the boss and is never, I most certainly will not be the boss and I'm wrong all the time. All teasing aside, I'm really excited to play even though I'll be starting weeks late.

I'm so happy to have seen  image.png.8c4297b8dfc2dda5915e7135b560933d.png in less than a week and I'm sure it is going to continue to grow.

You will see a character named Scrapyard (not a gm) doing crazy stupid things. Well, that's how I enjoy the game. If you know how to script and wanna spend sometime teaching an old dog new tricks, well shoot me a line.

See you all starting after June 1st, I've got some real life stuff to handle.
