Raid Boss Name: Beleth
Raid Boss Level: 80 (Aggro)
Spawn Location: Hellbound
Minions: Yes (Many clones)
Minion Level: 80
Required Quest: Hellbound Entry Quest, Matras Curiosity.
Required Quest Item: None
Starting NPC Name: None
Starting NPC Location: N/A

Guide:
Suggested Classes:  To kill the boss you must do massive amounts of melee dmg quickly before you die.  Due to this, I would suggest:  SK, (4 melee dmg dealers, Judicator, Necro, Bishop.
      Suggested Level:  85
Max Clients per IP:  no limit
Suggested Gear:  The best of the best.  Minimum Vorpal +10 +/- ++ armor/jewels/weapons.
Suggested Route to Boss:  Hold up...

Are you sure, I mean REALLLLLY sure you want to do this?  This is probably one of the most brutal raids in L2 (High five).  I'm talking hours... just in the required quest for Matras, to try this.  The route could not be more confusing, the boss anymore difficult, and the information online just horribly inaccurate and contradicts every other source if not itself.  With that said, I'm not saying the below guide reflects what is 'correct' per official L2, nor that the below will work on any other server other than L2Toggle, but it's the best we got.

If you are still reading this, I'm sorry for you cause this is gonna suck...  strap in for:

  • Did I mention the sucky pre quest?  Cause it sucks.
  • Hours of manual movement, clicking.
  • Constantly finding out how to port with every new NPC you meet.
    • Do I click port only on the party leader
    • Or do I need to click on every single party member.
  • Wasting time in mazes waiting for doors to open for no real reason other than to waste your time.
  • The very high likelihood of you screwing something up and ruining hours of work.
    • Especially if you don't follow this guide exactly, and I do mean EXACTLY.
  • If at any point if you DC on any client, when you log them back in they will be ported back to the base hellbound map, not where they DC'd.  Thus, ruining your raid and forcing you to start all over, again.

alright, let's do this....   (Again, glossing over the quest to get into hellbound and the required quest)

Port to Heine, click on the glowing warpgate and hit 'Enter Hellbound Island' (Party leader only)
image.thumb.png.a1fb382a8cf312c70b6a84a23af909a4.png

Once inside you will want to travel to the Iron Castle, Map below.  The red X is where you port in at.  Basically head left from port, and follow the tunnel, past the chimeras, and finally through the opening/tunnel.
image.thumb.png.8b7625cf6d6946ca5e4e6c91d57d5b85.png

I'm not even going to mention the mobs along the way.  If at any point the mobs are an issue for you, then you are not ready for this raid.

Once you get on the other side of the tunnel make a u-turn as so
image.thumb.png.5480e8f5cf28db456d1e8edd95fd9b71.png

Welcome to your first NPC, Deltuva.  Click to enter the steel citadel (Every char individually)
image.png.f674a33d672cb4cf3714d79a758cb9f4.png
Next up, Dorian. Click 'Get help'  (Party leader only)
image.png.edd5f45deb6674766e518ef101f02b5c.png

You'll end up in this room, again, starting at the red X, work your way through the room up the ramp, along the side until you see Master Zelos.  (Make sure none of your chars get stuck under the ramp)  Hop off the ledge and kill him.  He is nothing impressive.
image.thumb.png.3c7898dad6b396562013668080411427.png

After he is dead you instantly teleport to the red X, and again, follow the yellow brick road.
image.thumb.png.e834f3c9d987fe0253c29bf6e3fb5073.png

Find this teleporter near the green crystal thingy and move up (Party leader) and keep moving up floors (Party leader) until you can't anymore.image.thumb.png.ec5ace033e81df715ffb7109e9d78e89.png

At the top you enter Tully's room.  A needless maze with needless doors with needless NPCs to open the needless doors but not with a 100% open rate, and a 5 min+/- cooldown timer if it fails for no reason other than waste your time.  It's (beyond) stupid.
image.png.d0be12ad58e6719eef499bd1ed437da5.png

If you get the below message when trying to open the door...
image.png.dc54c2ca843f767813928bf0e0aadb82.png

Congrats you won a free 5 minute break.  Go refill your coffee, take a bathroom break, etc... and wait for the gatekeeper to 'recharge'.  Repeat this until the door opens...  GOOD LUCK.  Sometimes you can zip through in 5 minutes, other times it can take an hour.  Just depends on luck (or lack thereof).

Below is the only map I could quickly find online, ignore the other markups except...  The red X where you start at, and then follow the orange line.  (Blue squares are the door control NPCs, orange circles are the doors.)

Once you enter the center room, kill Tully, you can ignore the spinning tops.
image.png.db7b247e5a34fccb588f11c4388a0916.png

Is Tully not there?  That means someone already killed him.  Congrats your way to Beleth is closed until he respawns.  #GetFcked.

Oh, Tully was there and you killed him?  Great, this dwarf spawned by the other door to the center room.  Talk to him and click "No time to talk, I require teleportation." (Every single char) image.png.b4c81189a3b461422d20aa846e0e99e5.png

Next room looks familiar but there is an unnessary large teleporter.  Proceed to the roof (Every single char)
image.png.659e6933a9c488562408b968dedc43e7.png

Now Darion (Nothing exciting, decent amount of HP)
image.thumb.png.762c877f3e7c3dfd7ed04ae7271247f2.png

Once he is dead, a door will open go up the ramp into the next tower.
Now read this next part REAL close cause this is where things specific.
image.thumb.png.058305110842ea2ffd6ac943f4e6b297.png

Kill the lock ONLY, AND THEN WAIT FOR IT TO DISAPPEAR.  Ignore the wards they have tons of HP.

Once the lock has fully despawned, stand close to the controller.  Turn ALL of your bots off in party.  Then have the party leader click on the controller and select the only option to port to the next section.  (The reason for turning the bot off is because most bot program treat the controller mob and will attack it, quickly killing it and preventing you from progressing.  Good news is the NPCs will respawn, in about 10 minutes...

Once you are done with that.  You'll get to several rooms with a box in it.  This is simple.  Walk the only path available to you.  When you get in the room, make sure all your party members are in the room, then talk to the box (door close), mobs spawn, kill the mobs, go through the open door.  You have 5 minutes to do each room.
image.thumb.png.0009a6fe77990b89bd670ed046655d28.png

In the very last room, (with green smoke coming up from the floor, talk to the box, kill mobs, but then LEAVE PARTY ON EVERY CHAR AND GO THROUGH THE OPEN DOOR ONE AT A TIME.  Otherwise you will get kicked out of the next room almost immediately.
image.thumb.png.a4d5065d9c90b221f32b125e222e4427.png

Once you go through the door (again, 1 at a time) your party will be in the mutated elpy room.

Okay, another specific part.  (EDIT:  REJOIN YOUR PARTY/CC.)  Take ONE damage dealer party member that can do single shot dmg, and they will be the ONLY one killing mobs from this point forward.  Park the other chars somewhere, and with the 1 DD, kill BOTH mutated Elpys.
image.thumb.png.ed9c78b039c8287135c1f0affbe839f5.png

Once you do, 4 mob types spawn.  Fire(Salamander), Earth (Golem), Wind (Whisp ghost like thing) and water (Pretty close to wind but think more IOP water mob type)

NOTE:  You can probably kill whatever one you want, but I have only done it 1 way, which is to kill 1 fire salamander, then 1 golem, and then ONLY kill salamanders until epidos spawns.  This will take roughly 20+ minutes of running mobs around killing only select ones.  Sometimes they get stuck and the room itself if glitchy.  You will want something with a range skill to pull mobs.  After a while the mobs all get stacked up and it's hard to tell what you are hitting.  Which, isn't good because if you kill the wrong mob it's gameover.  No AOE.  Once Epidos spawns you can kill with the whole party, before you kill him with any party member.
image.png.312f2d70171b54ad669c3b75b1fde459.png

If you do it right...
image.thumb.png.eaf78aa62d878c94269d38756722b9bc.png

Each char clicks on this large teleporter
image.thumb.png.9f4a416ca5638931a0501fc70571794c.png

You'll enter a square room.  you got about 5 mins before one of the doors open.  When it does, run straight in almost all the way to the back, below is where you want to be.  Make sure you have the adrenaline mob/NPC window visible and large.  Make sure your adrenaline window is on your main assist as you will be using the adrenaline window to target the real Beleth.

image.thumb.png.cf8d92146b63eb9316513d4eb75b1702.png

Once there, you got 5 mins to get yourself ready.
Now, I know you've spent the past several hours/days getting to this point.  Would suck if you died now wouldn't it.  Well, chances are you will.  It's VERY easy to wipe here even with amazing gear.  Beleth and his clones each do significant AOE dmg and you will have several of them on you within seconds.

During this time I have 1 char constantly hitting my tank to constantly have SOS ready to trigger.  As soon as the boss spawns, SOS, Appetite, and anything else you have.  Party UD, Shield of Faith keep you alive an extra couple of seconds.

Either way, the boss or you will be dead in the next 15 seconds...

image.thumb.png.e16c940e861ca27d9197c91f9b4033f9.png

cool Baium like ending but dark instead of holy.
image.thumb.png.1922ccc49687228c14921e4313d99b9f.png

Another doorway will open.  BEFORE you open the stone coffin inside, make a command channel (otherwise no Ring)

Great guide! However, for those playing on the Erica server, I have to say—it’s even more of a nightmare here. But, there are a few "pro-tips" (nuances) that might save your run:

The Elpy Trick: When you reach the Mutated Elpy (the rabbit), there’s a known bug/feature. You should disband your party entirely, then re-invite everyone back into a new party before killing the Elpy. This seems to stabilize the instance trigger and ensures the next stage opens correctly.

The Respawn Confusion: If you use the .epic command, the interface might show a 24-hour cooldown. Don't let that fool you! In reality, the actual respawn timer on this server functions similarly to Antharas or Valakas, which is much longer than what the command suggests.
